Lashes that lure Who is a candidate for Latisse?

Bay Area patients who are unhappy with the appearance of their eyelashes that may be too thin and/or short are the best candidates for Latisse. Patients suffering from hypotrichosis, a condition associated with inadequate eyelashes, are also able to successfully grow eyelashes with Latisse.

How is Latisse treatment performed?

Latisse is a topical solution that is applied daily along the upper eyelids only. Latisse is packaged in a small bottle that generally lasts up to 30 days, if used as recommended. Sterile, one-time use applicators are provided with the product for patients’ convenience. Latisse results can be seen within the first four to six weeks and eyelashes continue to grow for the next eight weeks. Once Latisse is discontinued, eyelashes gradually return to their previous state.

Recuperation

Latisse is a take-home treatment that does not require any down time. Most of our San Francisco / San Jose Latisse patients apply Latisse before bedtime and are able to continue to wear eye makeup, contact lenses and/or eyeglasses shortly after applying the solution. Mild skin irritation and/or redness is associated with Latisse, including temporary eyelid darkening.

Other Options

Latisse has helped numerous Bay Area patients achieve thicker, longer and fuller eyelashes that are completely natural. Additional facial cosmetic procedures offered by our team include BOTOX injections, facial peels, laser skin resurfacing and laser hair removal in San Francisco.
